The Song:
"Don't Let Me leave Alone," the first single off of eclectic production duo Windimoto's upcoming EP The Travels of Windimoto has grown up in Chicago and Detroit, spent some time in Holland with famed producer Nicolay, and is now spreading its wings in California with a new remix by Bay-area producer Trackademics. The song, which features newcomer Victor St. Clair, tells the tale of a man working to fix his withering relationship with a less than optimistic girlfriend. If the original track got you into the club sipping cocktails, this remix wants to make sure that you're out on the dance floor. With the addition of a more driving beat and booming bass, Trackademics combines his signature style of treating music like California Cuisine - "I take ingredients and influences from all over to add to our local tastes and create something appealing to everyone."

The Background:
Growing up in Chicago in the 80's, Sean Haley soaked up the ubiquitous house music scene and went on to become the popular club DJ known as Disco. He used his knowledge and experience to introduce Detroit-born music producer Scorpeze to the Chicago music scene. Meeting in the fall of 2005, Scorpeze brought his jazz, soul, funk and techno influences from Detroit - and so Windimoto was born. Windimoto combines the music of Chicago (The Windy City) and Detroit (The Motor City) to create an eclectic mix of sound that will push the limits of what is considered dance music and appeal to all music lovers.
