The Song:

In an effort to reawaken an already- infectious single, the eclectic production duo known as Windimoto called on famed Holland-born producer Nicolay for a remixing and rejuvenating of "Don't Let Me Leave Alone" featuring Victor St. Clair. As touching as it is catchy, "Don’t Let Me Leave Alone" tells a tale of a man working to fix his withering relationship with a less than optimistic girlfriend. While the original track makes for a perfect addition to any function involving dance, Nicolay sought to direct the remix along a separate path. "The original has a Latin feel to me, so I wanted to take it somewhere real different with a little more upbeat drive to it," he says. "Something that you'd turn up if you were in the car." With a little help from Nicolay, Windimoto demonstrates once again that music can be both soothing and energizing, simultaneously.

The Background:

Growing up in Chicago in the 80's, Sean Haley soaked up the ubiquitous house music scene.  He used his knowledge and experience to introduce Detroit-born music producer Scorpeze to the Chicago music scene.  Meeting in the fall of 2005, Scorpeze brought his jazz, soul, funk and techno influences from Detroit - and so Windimoto was born. Windimoto combines the music of Chicago (The Windy City) and Detroit (The Motor City) to create an eclectic mix of sound that will push the limits of what is considered dance music and appeal to all music lovers.
