In "Growin Up," Keelay & Zaire continue to show off their production skills, by allowing Slo Mo to set his upbeat flow to a slow rhythmic background, allowing the listener to focus on the lyrics. That's a good thing, because Slo Mo has a lot to say, rapping, "Tell me what's the reason for the hate / Thinking that I'm balling just because I'm out of state / Maybe 'cuz I got my face on a mixtape / But now I'm bout to finally set the *&@!* record straight."
