The Song:
On February 6th, Seattle duo Fly Moon Royalty released their self-titled debut album. Having already earned singer AdraBoo and producer Action Jackson high acclaim, including a number of well-received performances around the Northwest, the duo continues to put out new treats for their loyal fans. With the official video for lead single "Lemonade" planned for release in the coming weeks, Fly Moon Royalty is excited to bring fans an official remix for album closer, "Back To You."
The song, officially titled "Back To You (Butter Remix)" features fellow Seattleite and Sportn' Life Records label mate Spac3man, and while the sound and feel of the song has changed with this latest incarnation, it's still tells the tale of far-away love. "It was written to tell someone that they left an impression," says AdraBoo about the track. "It's for 'the one that got away,' for a long distance love, someone whose energy just stays with you."
Sonically, Action Jackson rebuilt this remix from the ground up. While the original puts forth an up-tempo, electro vibe, the remix is all stripped down and slowed down soul, built around Action's reverberating keys and steady drums. AdraBoo's toned vocals play off the new track well, and both are complimented by Spac3man's verse, an emotionally raw verse about love and loss.

The
Background:
Originally formed in 2010 in Seattle, Washington, under the name "Sugar Water Purple", AdraBoo and Action Jackson quickly disbanded the name once they discovered that it already existed, which ultimately gave birth to Fly Moon Royalty. Having opened up for Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings and Allen Stone, and drawing comparisons to artists like Janelle Monáe and Gnarls Barkley, the electro-soul duo is prepared to introduce themselves to the world with their self-titled debut album, Fly Moon Royalty, set for release on February 6th.
