	D.Willz Gets Juicy With Quirky Hit Video Featuring California Farmers

Critical Praise for D.Willz: Winner of mtvU Freshmen 5 contest. The Video: Oakland, California rapper, D. Willz has hit it big with the video for his single "Watermelon." The track, produced by Mark Kragen is featured on his *Hood Hop* mix-tape, hosted by DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar. The video is in rotation on MTV Jams, AMtv (one of the only indie videos on the show), and has already been chosen as Freshmen Video of the Week on mtvU, landing it a place in the regular rotation. It won a dominating 60% of the votes thanks to the hilarious, outside-the-box, original humor that seems to be becoming D. Willz' signature. "Watermelon" goes against the grain of your average rap video, and shows just how unafraid D.Willz is to take risks with his music. "We've never seen a rap video where the lead rapper lets 3 other guys rap his verses" claims D.Willz, "and that was a risk I was willing to take." The positively juicy, bouncing beat and D. Willz's cleverly suggestive lyrics are accompanied by watermelon-carrying, dancing, rapping California farmers. The video has racked up over 200,000 views and continues to gain steam while still flying under the radar of most media outlets.
