Effortlessly fly and endlessly quotable, Tre Loaded is making waves in Memphis and beyond. Today, the 21-year-old rapper shares the brand new video for “Push Start,” his bass-heavy March single. Produced by Say Breezy, “Push Start” finds Tre stacking assonant flexes over bouncy production, complete with a croaking bassline and crisp snares. In the video, Tre turns his lyrics into reality, driving a slick yellow Corvette (with keyless ignition, naturally) around the streets of Atlanta and its suburbs. Linking up with his crew in a parking lot full of âpush startâ whips, Tre unloads glistening flexes with his Southern drawl: âWith bad hoes in the Sprinter / Logo, I’m in the center / They copy what I do, move how I move just like a printer.â
The âPush Startâ video continues a line of street-savvy bangers, following Treâs street hit âAnother Whip,â released earlier this year. With over 250k streams across platforms, “Another Whip” is picking up momentum on social platforms like TikTok and bubbling on Shazam. These singles, part of his upcoming Loaded mixtape, are the next steps on the young rapperâs ladder to success. Tre grew up in East Memphis surrounded by music, taking trips to the studio to listen to rappers like his uncle Don Trip. Tre started rhyming at age fifteen, inspired by his Memphis forebears and lyrical street rappers like Rod Wave and Ralo to turn the booth into his diary and turn rapping into his career. In early 2023, Tre first shared âVo Flow,â a minimalist banger populated mostly by snapping fingers, low-note guitars, and Treâs percussive voice, which eventually gained traction on social platforms like TikTok.
