Hailing from Albuquerque, NM, Sad Baby Wolf is a indie rock group formed by former The Shins member Marty Crandall in 2010. Joined by old friends and locals Neal Langford, Jason Ward, Sean McCullough and Maury Crandall, Sad Baby Wolf began with a gig to pay for a sick friend’s medical expenses and soon blossomed into the singles “8th Level” and “Survival Guide” as well as a cover of Neutral Milk Hotel’s “Everything Is.” Having wrapped up a tour last year with Spencer Krug’s new project Moonface, the band is set to release their debut album Electric Sounds on April 9th.
