Critical Praise for Sandman Viper Command:
"Sandman Viper Command conjures up references to Sloan - but in away that is still fresh... for a debut recording, this is a standout on so many levels... the band to watch in 2010" - Hamilton View"
"Strawberry Quick" presents a band with quite a bit of range, and the young group is poised to make a bigger dent in the scene." - Citizen Dick
The Song:
Sandman Viper Command is not the kind of band that can sit still for very long. Whether they are working their way through a U.S tour in just ten days, or writing new songs while on the road, these guys work quickly. Which makes their newest single, "New Fast," all the more appropriate of a title. The latest SVC single is available as a B-side to the "Rough Love" 7".
"New Fast" is steeped in a chunky rolling bass line, quaking drum rolls, and rusty guitar riffs that are all topped off by the vocal stylings of lead singer Rob Janson. The infusion of laser echoing synths only adds to the epicness of "New Fast" and makes it sound like something Han Solo and Chewbacca might listen to while racing through space.

The
Background:
Sandman Viper Command is comprised of four best friends (Rob Janson, Aaron Harvey, Dan Reardon, Matt Meyer). Leaving behind the college textbooks and replacing them with electric guitars, Sandman Viper Command isolated themselves for six months in a barn on the outskirts of Hamilton, Ontario with producer Dave King. From the session came the impressive 12-song, independently released debut album Everybody See This. Performing a handful of U.S. dates for the first time this October, Sandman Viper Command are aiming to take the world by storm.
