We've already given you our list of the best albums we've worked so far this year, and now here are our picks for the best videos we've been involved with this year:

The Contenders:

Bisco Smith – "Strange Love"

Bisco Smith joined forces with Carl Weston, the legendary, original producer of graffiti videos since the late 1980's, and graffiti documentarian through his production company Video Graf Productions to shoot this video, which was featured on YouTube's front page and has received over 90,000 views to date.

Black Milk – "Losing Out" Feat. Royce Da 5'9"

Detroit producer/emcee Black Milk teams up with fellow Detroit rhymer Royce Da 5'9 to shoot the video for one of TRONIC's most lauded tracks.

Blaq Poet – "Ain't Nuttin' Changed"

DJ Premier, who produced this track, along with the large majority of Tha Blaqprint, joins Blaq Poet as he takes us on a tour of his stomping grounds, the infamous Queensbridge Projects, and shows us how he gets down, two turntables and a mic style.

Bobby Evans - "Freak-A-Zoid Robots"
"So Damn Down"

Enter an arcade game world where a Tron state of mind and fly moves preside, where metallic Sorayama-inspired robots do choreographed dances and fight 8-bit battles to the death.

Fly Gypsy – "You"

Fly Gypsy's Alexei Jendayi and Kowboy Kom enlisted the talents of famed Jamaican video director Ras Kassa whose impressive resume includes the likes of Sean Paul, Willie Nelson, Damian, Stephen Marley, and Beenie Man, to name a few. The video will premiere on MTVu and VH1 Soul in the coming weeks.

J*DaVeY – "Slooow"

J*DaVeY bring the sultry track "Slooow" from their double EP Beauty in Distortion / Land of the Lost, to life through a video that subtly melts into our speakers and our eardrums. Set behind a quivering red and black backdrop that oozes, bends, and spreads across the screen, the video takes us into an abstract dream-like world that lets us see what J*DaVeY's understated and suggestive bleeps and coos look like in the visual realm.

Kam Moye – "Let's Be Honest"

North Carolina emcee Kam Moye aka Supastition continues to display his down to earth sensibilities, and now finds himself fleshing out those sentiments with a strong set of visuals for the lead single from Splitting Image.

Keelay & Zaire – "The Times" Feat. Blu, Fortilive, Nino Moschella

With rhymes from San Fran inhabitants Slo Mo and Mush Mouf, soultry vocals from Nino Moschella, along with LA emcee Blu, the track is a motivational call-to-arms, and the video captures the vibrancy of the citizens and sites of the Bay Area. "The Times" is the lead single from Keelay & Zaire's debut album, Ridin High.

Souls Of Mischief – "Proper Aim"

Souls of Mischief have always been groundbreaking musically, and now they are stretching the boundaries of hip-hop videos as well. There are no lip-synchs here- only a transfixing peak into what it takes to create a dope art piece that doubles as an attention-grabbing album cover. Souls handpicked artist Steven Lopez for the cover art, and Lopez had the forethought to record his multilayered process, creating the premiere video from Souls' newly released, long-awaited Prince Paul produced album, Montezuma's Revenge.

Tanya Morgan – "So Damn Down"

The trio of Von Pea, Ilyas, and Donwill have been some of the hardest working rappers around recently, and with their new video they finally got the chance to unwind, have a little fun, and bring the Rap Pack to life, complete with three-piece suits, bowties, and beautiful women. "So Damn Down" is the lead single from Tanya Morgan's sophomore LP, Brooklynati, and has received heavy rotation on MTV2 and MTV Jams.

Thanks again for your continued support throughout the year and we look forward to beginning the new decade with you!
