18 Year Old D.C. Rapper Nooch Prepares Release of Forthcoming Mixtape, Premieres Video with HotNewHipHop

HotNewHipHop premieres the video for “Feel This,” a serenade-like track by the young rapper Nooch. The 18 year old D.C. artist, signed to Oy Boy Records, creates a vibe that differs from his recent street-style single, “Too Many” feat. Fat Trel. With smooth lines and quips, Nooch manages to take what he’s learned about music and form his own sound rather than copying his influences directly. Over incredible aerial shots of D.C., Nooch is invited over by a beautiful, lonely woman, only to emit a swagger far beyond his years. Says Nooch, “I’m young but you couldn’t tell if you ain’t know.”

Featuring the likes of Wale, Fat Trel, and Paul Wall, Nooch’s forthcoming Sophomore Slump is scheduled for a May release. In addition to those features, he has worked alongside Black Cobain and Shy Glizzy, establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with among the DMV scene. As a follow up to last year’s Rookie Season, Nooch’s upcoming mixtape features his own style that he’s been cultivating over the years. “I try to make every song completely different,” he says. “I’d like for my music to make the listener feel exactly how I felt when I made the song.”
