Lil Durk Announces “Signed To The Streets III Tour,” With Support From Yella Beezy and Durk’s Only The Family Label Signees
The Chicago Rapper Prepares For His First Headlining Tour of the Year as the Signed To The Streets III Single “Home Body” Earns a Gold Certification from the RIAA
“Unshackled from any kind of outline, Durk’s pen game shines. His rise was dotted with blood-soaked tales that summarized much of drill’s appeal: ground-level glimpses at Chicago’s South Side that colored in the outline offered by grim murder statistics.” –Pitchfork
“Lil Durk continues to be one of the most consistent rappers out.” – The FADER
“the rose that blossomed from the concrete of Chi-Town’s drill music scene” – Billboard
Commanding a loyal legion of fans in his hometown of Chicago and far beyond, Lil Durk is the standard-bearer for melodic street rap. Just weeks after wrapping an arena tour in support of Meek Mill, Durk announces “The Signed To The Streets III Tour,” his first headlining tour since 2016. Kicking off on April 18th in Kansas City, the tour will make stops in the Northeast, Midwest, and South, including appearances at Rolling Loud Festival in Miami and Slumped Fest in White Plains, NY. With support from Yella Beezy and guest spots from the entire roster of Durk’s Only The Family label, tickets for the “Signed To The Streets III Tour” are currently available at STTS3.com.
With a young and hungry roster of Chicago-born emcees, Lil Durk’s OTF label signees have made their intentions clear–they’re coming to take over the game. Most notable among the OTF roster is King Von, whose breakout hit “Crazy Story” earned more than 24 million views on YouTube and 4.1 million plays on Spotify. King Von is currently preparing his debut mixtape.. Returning to the scene with his Dirty-Glove Bastard-premiered single “War Scars,” melodic mastermind Booka600 prepares to release his mixtape Word To LA this spring. King Von, Booka600, and the rest of the roster, including Doodie Lo, OTF Ikey, Memo600, and JusBlow600, will make join their mentor and CEO onstage throughout the “Signed To The Streets III Tour,” performing the best tracks from their soon-to-be released projects. The OTF crew showcased their talents in two label mixtapes released last year, Lil Durk Presents: Only The Family Involved Vol. 1, released last summer, and its sequel, released just before the New Year.
The culmination of a five-year rise from underground sensation to mainstream star, Lil Durk pulled out all the stops for November 2018’s Signed to the Streets 3, his first album to be released by Alamo Records. One of the standout tracks from Durk’s Billboard Top 20-peaking project was “Home Body,” a for-the-ladies jam with appearances from Gunna and TK Kravitz. A slow-burning hit originally released last March, “Home Body” recently earned Gold Record status with the RIAA, signifying over 500,000 singles equivalent units moved, including more than 15.8 million streams on Spotify. Last month, Durk shared a female-fronted remix for “Home Body.” With sultry appearances from Teyana Taylor and NYC rising rapper Melii, the “Home Body” Remix is a sex positive banger and a welcome respite from hip-hop’s male gaze.
Stay tuned for No Auto Durk, Durk’s upcoming mixtape, coming soon.
