Speckled crisp rhythm guitar and room-enveloping splashes of vintage synths courtesy of Australian producer Jia Lih, “Trouble” finds the Internet Money Records signee willfully returning to a toxic relationship, letting his desires overwhelm his common sense. The ’80s-flavored “Trouble” is Trevor’s first new single since the October 2018 release of Homecoming, Trevor’s debut EP, which featured production from Taz Taylor and his Internet Money collective. The new single follows last week’s release of the romantic “Mess” video, and follows in the wake of the EP’s lead single and viral hit “Falling.”
