Trading boasts over lilting acoustic guitars and snapping snares, Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa hit the beach in “Brand New.” Directed by Gabriel Hart and premiered by GQ, who called the track a “4-minute vacation,” “Brand New” is a visual feast, finding the two emcees showing off their collection of Porsches, stunting in color coordinated parlor rooms, and, in one memorable sequence, riding palm trees into outer space. The latest high-profile collaboration by the two Taylor Gang labelmates, who previously combined for hits like “Or Nah“ and “Sucker For Pain,” “Brand New” is the latest video from October’s label mixtape TGOD Vol. 1, released in conjunction with Taylor Gang’s announcement of a new deal with Atlantic Records. Featuring appearances from the label’s entire roster, including label vets like Juicy J and Chevy Woods, and newcomers such as J.R.
