Twisting his soft tenor into indelible hooks, Yung Pinch crafts infectious and affecting songs about the highs and lows of beach life. Coming through with a wide-ranging and stylistically diverse artistic statement, Yung Pinch shares Back 2 The Beach, his latest album. A 16-track effort that bounces from hazy hedonism to thoughtful melancholia, Back 2 The Beach refines and expands Pinch’s signature sound. The new project displays a distinct alt rock influence, manifesting in Pinch’s sticky melodies and in the pristine production, which add gently-plucked acoustic and chugging electric guitars to Pinch’s familiar burbling synth melodies. Executive produced by alt-rap veteran Cisco Adler, Back 2 The Beach reflects Pinch’s conflicts with fame and his desire to remain grounded in the face of success.

The new album features previously released singles like the Wiz Khalifa-featuring “Over It,” and the yawning trap ballad “Sober.” Earlier this month, Pinch unveiled “Beach Ballin’,” an anthemic collaboration with blackbear, which racked up nearly 3 million streams on Spotify alone in its two weeks of release. Featuring additional appearances from Pouya, Goody Grace, and pop-emo veterans Good Charlotte, Back 2 The Beach arrives via Beartrap / TWNSHP.

Tonight, Yung Pinch performs a sold-out album release concert at The Roxy in Los Angeles, where he will perform songs from the new project and highlights from his career.
