SwizZz, born and raised in Southern California, cannot be classified as your average MC. Through his music SwizZz reveals a range of experiences throughout his life, most which can be credited to his biracial background. He was accepted to University of California at Irvine, but after two years decided to put his education on hold and pursue a music career. He strives for perfection and believes that mediocrity is not an option. SwizZz is a pivotal player in the Funk Volume movement , and has also accompanied Funk Volume label mate Hopsin on over 60 shows around the world this year alone. His unique talent and pride on being able to reach masses by being honest about his confrontations with life challenges has folks describing him as “real”, “raw” and “creative”. He plans to usher a whole new era of music and develop up-and-coming artists.
