The Announcement:

Rising from an indie Miami production to a massive enterprise that spans multiple locations, Rolling Loud embodies rap’s underdog-to-top dog spirit. Curating an epic video of unforgettable moments, Rolling Loud co-founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif share the Rolling Loud Bay Area 2018 Aftermovie, comprised of behind-the-scenes footage and clips of the fest’s most notable perforamnces. Directed by Nasser Boulaich and produced by Aditya Pamidi, the video shows a montage of spectacular images from the two-day festival, interspersed with energetic testimonials from festival attendees, before taking a closer look at performances by Sheck Wes, Saweetie, Gunna, Lil Mosey, and many more. The 8.5 minute mini-doc is a great refresher for those who attended the festival and a succinct recap for those who wish they did.

Headlined by turn-up titan Travis Scott and Taylor Gang ringleader Wiz Khalifa, the artist roster for Rolling Loud Bay Area was as star-studded as they come, boasting Hip-Hop heavy hitters like Rae Sremmurd, Pusha T, Gucci Mane, and Kevin Gates, local heroes like E-40, IAMSU!, Kamaiyah, Mozzy, and P-Lo, XXL Freshmen like Trippie Redd, wifisfuneral and  BlocBoy JB, and other rapidly rising stars, including Juice WRLD, Lil Baby,  Yung Bans, Lil Skies, and Saweetie. Occurring over two days on the grounds of Oakland Coliseum, Rolling Loud Bay Area brought a blast of hyphy local energy that the rap game desperately needs.

Most recently, Rolling Loud hosted Rolling Loud Los Angeles, headlined by Cardi B and Post Malone, and attended by 100,000 rap fans over two days. This month, Rolling Loud heads down under for Rolling Loud Australia, taking place on January 27th in Sydney, headlined by Future and Lil Uzi Vert.

About Rolling Loud:

Rolling Loud is the largest hip hip festival in the world. Co-founded by childhood friends Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler (both named Billboard Hip Hop Players two years in a row) the two had been producing rap shows in South Florida for 5 years before launching Rolling Loud in 2015 as a one-day festival for 6,000 attendees. The Miami-based festival has since grown into a three-day event that draws 60k attendees from all over the world and in 2017, they expanded to the Bay Area and Los Angeles. In January 2019, they will launch their already sold-out Sydney, Australia festival, which sold 20,000 tickets in 38 minutes. Playing host to the genre’s biggest artists including Cardi B, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne, Migos, and many more, Rolling Loud is proud to be the biggest live brand in hip hop.
