The Announcement:

With its 2nd Bay Area installment coming tomorrow, Rolling Loud is ready to once again become the epicenter of the Hip-Hop world. Inspired by Bay Area music iconography, Rolling Loud reveals brand new merch for the festival. Curated by Aditya Pamidi and designed by Bryan Rivera (DONDA, Post Malone), with additional design by Collin Fletcher and Wyatt Knowles, the collection was inspired by key Bay Area music elements such as the Grateful Dead, the hyphy movement, and Oakland murals, organically integrated by Rivera into a coherent aesthetic. A limited edition collection, the new line of merch will be exclusively available at Rolling Loud Bay Area this weekend.

“The Bay Area live music culture is so rich, so we had a lot to draw from,” says curator Aditya Pamidi. “We wanted to make something unique to the Oakland RL experience.”

Teaming up with a new partner for its state-of-the-art livestream, Rolling Loud signed an exclusive global distribution and livestream content agreement with LiveXLive, a leader in live music video and streaming, for Rolling Loud Bay Area and December’s Rolling Loud Los Angeles festival. With a stated goal of over 27 live festival streams and over 350 hours of content for its 2019 fiscal year, LiveXLive provided livestream service for Electric Daisy Carnival, Bumbershoot, Hangout Fest, Rock In Rio, and many more festivals over the past year. With their new partnership, Rolling Loud and LiveXLive will continue to turn heads and blow minds, starting with Rolling Loud Bay Area on September 15-16 at the Oakland Coliseum Grounds.

Gathering a variety of rap’s biggest names for a two day bash, Rolling Loud is preparing the finishing touches on Rolling Loud Bay Area 2018, occurring on September 15th and 16th. Headlined by turn-up titan Travis Scott and Taylor Gang ringleader Wiz Khalifa, the artist roster for Rolling Loud Bay Area is as star-studded as they come, boasting Hip-Hop heavy hitters like Rae Sremmurd, Pusha T, Gucci Mane, and Kevin Gates, local heroes like E-40, IAMSU!, Kamaiyah, Mozzy, and P-Lo, XXL Freshmen like Trippie Redd, wifisfuneral and  BlocBoy JB, and other rapidly rising stars, including Juice WRLD, Lil Baby,  Yung Bans, Lil Skies, and Saweetie. Occurring over two days on the grounds of Oakland Coliseum, Rolling Loud Bay Area brings the blast of hyphy local energy that the rap game desperately needs. The Background:

Rolling Loud Festival is one of rap’s premier music festival experiences. The festival was the brainchild of co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matthew Zingler, who began organizing shows in 2010. The two created Rolling Loud Festival in 2015 as a one-day festival for 6,000 attendees. Three years later, the festival’s Miami chapter has expanded into a three-day event, with the festival expanding worldwide in the coming year.
