The Recap:

Gathering over 60,000 fans under the shadow of Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, Rolling Loud offers rap fans an embarrassment of riches. The second day of the 3-day event produced one of the greatest moments in Rolling Loud history, when Meek Mill emerged on the High Hemp stage for his first performance since his release from prison. Radiating joy and righteous energy, the Philadelphia icon led the crowd in a rendition of “Dreams and Nightmares” in the breezy Florida air. Not to be outdone, Travis Scott unveiled a new set for his headlining performance, Migos showed off their trademark interplay on their numerous hits, Amber Rose introduced hometown heroes Trick Daddy & Trina, and much more. Check out those highlights, plus some performances by some rising stars, in our recap below.

Rolling Loud Background

Rolling Loud Festival is one of rap’s premier music festival experiences. The festival was the brainchild of co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matthew Zingler, who began organizing shows in 2010. The two created Rolling Loud Festival in 2015 as a one-day festival for 6,000 attendees. Three years later, the festival’s Miami chapter has expanded into a three-day event, with the festival expanding worldwide in the coming year.
