(March 5, 2013 – Brooklyn, NY) In partnership with The Vinyl District, premier lifestyle and entertainment marketing firm Audible Treats is proud to announce their official SXSW Showcase Speakers Push Air. The showcase will convene at The Parish Underground on the evening of Friday, March 15th and will include triple-headliners New Mexico-based indie outfit Sad Baby Wolf, Brooklyn fuzz-rockers Lightouts, California's Brown Shoe, who will be joined by Love As Laughter, Linus Pauling Quartet, Boy + Kite, and Ace Reporter. As an official SXSW-sponsored showcase, all badge and wristband holders will be admitted for free.

Having thrown their first official indie showcase at CMJ this past fall, Audible Treats is gearing up to bring the same energy to SXSW. Now in its 27th year, SXSW has built up a reputation for providing new and relatively unknown acts an opportunity to perform in front of passionate music fans and key industry professionals alike. Speakers Push Air, which comes a day after Audible Treats' fourth annual Official Hip-Hop Showcase, fits the SXSW mold well, delivering a strong line-up of indie acts from across the country. "In the past year Audible Treats has continued to build up our roster of diverse indie rock artists. We're proud to repesent such a strong group of bands and to showcase them during primetime at SXSW," stated Director of Marketing, Gavin Rhodes.

The showcase is a joint endeavor between the Brooklyn-based marketing company and partner The Vinyl District with sponsorship from longtime showcase sponsor FLüD Watches, makers of unique and fresh watches. "We're delighted to be partnering with Audible Treats for this official showcase," says The Vinyl District Creative Director Jon Meyers. "All of the bands in the line-up have previously been — or are slated to be — featured on TVD embracing our fetish item of choice, vinyl, so it's a natural fit.
