	New Video Takes The Diggaz To The Dentist

The Video: Stu Bangas & Vanderslice are still riding high on the success of their recent album, Diggaz With Attitude, released in late summer via Man Bites Dog Records. The album, which has been met with high acclaim and strong reviews, featured the likes of Roc Marciano, The Alchemist, Evidence, Vinnie Paz, Celph Titled, Planet Asia, La Coka Nostra, and more, including Apathy and Wais P, both of whom appear on the latest single from the album, "Vikings," released today. The video, premiered this morning by OkayPlayer, is centered around a nightmarish dentist visit, with in-between shots of the two rolling around as probably the most intimidating golfers in recent memory. "I wanted to do something that was opposite from the vibe of the song," says video director R.M.L. "Who knew where the nitrous binge would lead?" The video was shot in a real dentist office, which took some special care and effort, says the crew. "The most challenging scene was lighting the dentist office during the nightmare scene," recalled R.M.L., noting that the guys still found some time to cut loose on set. "Also Wais P. was sloshing around the bag of teeth, and the teeth juice was going everywhere." Vanderslice, who has long since been a "digger" for the stars and Stu Bangas, who has been a big part of Boston's recently burgeoning hip-hop scene, first came together to produce the now-acclaimed Blaq Poet Society, an album with Screwball MC Blaq Poet. In the process, the production duo joined forces with indie label Man Bites Dog Records, and are now prepping their latest project, Diggaz With Attitude, or *D.W.A.* for short. Individually, Stu Bangas & Vanderslice have produced for a who's-who of underground favorites, a list that includes Sean Price, Apathy, Vinnie Paz, Ill Bill, Copywrite, and Heltah Skeltah, among others. For D.W.A., Stu & Vanderslice enlisted a number of those same artists, in addition to Roc Marciano, The Alchemist, Evidence, and more.
