Oakland Emcee Releases New Solo Track To Celebrate His Birthday
The Song:
Since a birthday is like your own personal holiday, you get to celebrate it any way you want. Luckily for us, T.K. Other Realm, one-fourth of League510, born on December 12th, is celebrating his birthday by releasing his brand new single, "Let It Go." The song is the first to be let go from T.K.'s upcoming solo project, The Known Other Realm, and was produced by T.K. himself.
Many people get nostalgic during their birthday, and T.K. channeled that nostalgia into inspiration for this song. "I wanted this song to be like a lyrical collage made up of memories, near death events, and reflections of my past," says T.K. "Sometimes we have to let go and not let our memories chain us down holding us back from moving on in life." The rhythmic bongo beats and Menahan Street Band sample laid the foundation for T.K. to explore his past while celebrating the present and anticipating the future.

The
Background:
Emcees TK, Mont, Mr. Knowitall and DJ Blacksmith better known as League510 are pioneers of a sound that is all their own, Town Techno. With a sound that is out of this world, League510's musical journey began in a galaxy far away from ours. After traveling the universe for years, they entered our galaxy and our planet shortly thereafter. With sights on our world, the quartet chose to land in the hills east of Oakland, California. After hiding their ship deep in the hills they approached this new town with great curiosity and were immediately amazed by the vibrant culture that they found. Adopting the Bay Area scene as their new home, League510 wasted no time in beginning their new musical journey here in our world. Using advanced abilities, the four emcees quickly mastered the art of sound and gave birth to Town Techo, a form of music that would unite the people in heightened awareness; to show them to take action, to appreciate the fun in life, to believe in themselves and to believe in The League.
