We have two fun things for you to indulge in next week. One is an exclusive listening party for former Non Phixion standout and current La Coka Nostra member ILL BILL and the other is for a headlining performance by LA-based electro-punk-soul darlings J*DaVeY at SOB’s. Details and e-flyers below.
On Tuesday, August 19th, ILL BILL is hosting a listening session for press for the release of his sophomore release The Hour of Reprisal, which comes out on September 16th on Uncle Howie Records / Fat Beats Records. No advance copies of the album will be serviced so this is your only chance to hear it. Features on the album include Raekwon The Chef, Immortal Technique, La Coka Nostra, B-Real, Necro, Tech N9ne, Bad Brains, DJ Muggs, DJ Premiere, and more. On Wednesday, August 20th, J*DaVeY will once again satisfy your longing for electronic impulses, seductive vocals, and a fresh futuristic sound by headlining at SOB’s, along with icon and self-proclaimed "Cool Weirdo" Peter Hadar and ghetto metal rockers Bazaar Royale.
