The Song:
Sporting 1980's garb for the single cover art, in vein of Spike Lee's film Do The Right Thing, the tone is set from the jump for the latest single in The Mansion series, with Cold Showda (of Chosen Few) dressed as Spike and Pep Love as Radio Raheem. Harkening back to a similar era, the new single "Easy 2 Find," produced by Unjust of Chosen Few, features jazz horn chops and vibrant electric piano over a powerful drum break. Neither rapper holds back, attacking with a fast flow and intricate rhyme schemes. "Psychological warfare I feel for assault/ Well I'm exactly what your band not /Got me off of your mix like a ham hock/ beans and cornbread OH to Oakland," raps Cold Showda, dropping reference to the respective hometowns of Chosen Few and Hiero. The song represents "a battle between love and hate," says Showda in regard to the "oversaturated, regurgitated music of today."
Keeping in line with the single artwork, fans can also look forward to a video for "Easy 2 Find," echoing the Spike Lee concept.
