The Video:
It's been just over a month since Fly Moon Royalty released their self-titled debut album via Sportn' Life Records, and now, the duo of producer Action Jackson and vocalist AdraBoo, are excited to release the visual for Fly Moon Royalty's lead single, "Lemonade."
The concept for the "Lemonade" video is simple, "upbeat and danceable," notes the Seattle-based duo. "We decided to go in the same direction as the feeling of the song," AdraBoo explains. "We didn't feel the need to directly follow the words in the song, but really we wanted to get our audience more acquainted with us as newer artists."
The video was directed by The Notework, and is set in what feels like the jazzy Speakeasy's of yester year, made popular in America in the 1920s. "The best part of the video was having our friends involved," note Action and Adra. "They made the process so much more fun - and they look beautiful throughout the entire piece."

The
Background:
Originally formed in 2010 in Seattle, Washington, under the name "Sugar Water Purple", AdraBoo and Action Jackson quickly disbanded the name once they discovered that it already existed, which ultimately gave birth to Fly Moon Royalty. Having opened up for Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings and Allen Stone, and drawing comparisons to artists like Janelle Monáe and Gnarls Barkley, the electro-soul duo is prepared to introduce themselves to the world with their self-titled debut album, Fly Moon Royalty, set for release on February 6th.
