The Song:
On July 24th, Dark Time Sunshine will release their new album, ANX. The other week, the duo comprised of Grayskul (Rhymesayers) rapper Onry Ozzborn and producer Zavala, released the album bonus track, "A Walk In The Park," and now, as Onry and Zavala prep for their forthcoming 31-date tour opening for Aesop Rock, Dark Time Sunshine is excited to release the first official track from ANX with "Look What The Cat Did," which features underground favorite Busdriver.
The new single, which Dark Time Sunshine refers to as "a dark pop anthem" about the luring power that they have over the women that they desire, is built around an absolutely infectious beat from Zavala. Layered synths bend, bubble, and bounce around crisp snares and thick, rapid-fire kicks, all coming to a head as Onry and Busdriver half-sing the hook, repeating, "Look at what the cat drugged in...He has your tongue."
Dark Time Sunshine's new album, ANX, which includes features from Aesop Rock, P.O.S., Busdriver, and more, will be released July 24th via Fake Four, Inc.

The Background:
Dark Time Sunshine is comprised of Onry Ozzborn of Grayskul (Rhymesavers) and producer Zavala. The partnership culminated in December 2009 with Dark Time Sunshine's Believeyoume, a nine song EP, released as a free download and limited CD from Fake Four Inc. In April 2010 Dark Time Sunshine released their first full-length LP, the acclaimed Vessel. With two superb releases and extensive touring in the U.S. with the likes of Sole and the Skyrider Band, AWOL One, Pigeon John, and DJ Abilities, Dark Time Sunshine quickly became an indie favorite and Vessel became one of the most well receieved hip hop albums of 2010. Dark Time Sunshine released Cornucopia, an EP of released material, for their Fall 2010 Make A Darwish tour.
