(Brooklyn, NY– July 26, 2011) The annual A3C Hip-Hop Festival continues to bring the best of hip-hop to Atlanta. In addition to live performances from over 200 artists including the LR Generations Show, hip-hop fans will now be able to listen to their favorite artists on the inaugural festival compilation, A3C Volume 1.

In the first partnership of its kind, the A3C Hip-Hop Festival and iHipHop Distribution present A3C Volume 1 featuring original music from artists participating in the 2011 festival. The compilation will be available October 6, the first day of the festival, on iHipHop Distribution. The first single from A3C Volume 1 is "For the Paper" by former Roc-A-Fella artist Freeway. Freeway performs on October 6, 2011 in the HipHopDX Showcase. "For the Paper" is available here

The LR Generations Show on October 7 presented by LRG, JAMLA and 9th Wonder features artists Corey Gunz, Freddie Gibbs, Kid Daytona and Laws along with the JAMLA crew. 9th Wonder's new independent label, JAMLA artists include Skyzoo, Rapsody, Thee Tom Hardy, Big Remo and Actual Proof.

Additional artists confirmed so far to perform at the 2011 festival include Random Axe (Sean Price, Black Milk and Guilty Simpson), Freeway, MURS, XV, Aleon Craft, Elzhi (of Slum Village), Jon Connor, Young Scolla, Tabi Bonney, ski beatz, Soul Khan, Jarren Benton, J-Live, Percee P, Ras Kass, Chase N Cashe, Rockie Fresh, Shawn Chrystopher, Rittz, SL Jones, Moe Green, KD, LE$, Ethereal, Willie Evans Jr., P Dukes, Nice Guise, Lidolido, Eternia, Eyezon Soweto, Shokanti Verde, The reMinders, Boog Brown, Ultra Beast (Senor Kaos and 4-Ize), Dillon, Paten Locke, Chancellor Warhol, Dee-1, Big Rec, Danny!, Goines, Johnny Spanish, Lyriciss, YONAS and Neak.

This is also the final week A3C is accepting artists' submissions through ReverbNation and Sonicbids. The final deadline for ReverbNation is August 1, 2011 and the final deadline for Sonicbids is July 29, 2011. All artists that submit through Sonicbids receive a 3-day festival pass. A3C staff listens to every submission and are looking for talented artists from across the country that can bring something unique to the festival.

About The A3C:

Now in its 7th year, the A3C Hip Hop Festival is a 2-day, 3-night event held annually in Atlanta, GA and features live performances from a wide variety of approximately 200 artists. The live performance schedule is enhanced by day and evening content showcasing some of the most exciting breakdance, graphic art, fashion, film, equipment demonstrations and panels relating to Hip Hop culture.

Since 2005, the event has featured over 600 of the most elite artists in Hip Hop including: Rakim, Buckshot, Black Sheep, DJ Premier, The Juice Crew, Biz Markie, Del the Funky Homosapien, The Clipse, Souls of Mischief, Little Brother, Wale and B.o.B.
