(Brooklyn, NY - September 26, 2011) Organizers behind the A3C Hip Hop Festival, taking place in Atlanta from October 6-8, 2011 at The Masquerade, are excited to announce Big Daddy Kane and M.O.P. have been added to the 2011 festival lineup. Accompanying the line-up additions, iHipHop Distribution is also excited to release the latest single from the A3C Volume 1 compilation album, which is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
In the latest artist addition for the 2011 A3C Hip-Hop Festival, The Red Bull Music Academy will present An Evening with Big Daddy Kane: Sowing the Seeds of Hip Hop on Saturday, October 8. Brooklyn native and hip-hop innovator, Big Daddy Kane headlines a night of music that pays tribute to the birthplace of hip-hop and the site of the 2012 Red Bull Music Academy - New York City, NY. The evening begins with an intimate conversation with Kane on his career, hip-hop and much more, hosted by Karl Injex. The show then moves into a musical journey through NYC's five boroughs showcasing classic hip-hop joints spun by Da Beatminerz and performed by some of today's most cutting edge names including Skyzoo, J-Live, Jean Grae and Boy Jones, son of the late Ol' Dirty Bastard.
Popular duo M.O.P. has also been added to the festival line-up and will headline the AllHipHop.com Breeding Ground Showcase on Saturday, October 8 along with Dead Prez. The showcase also features Elzhi (of Slum Village), Ras Kass, REKS, Termanology, Killa Kyleon, Paten Locke, Issa and DJ Statik Selektah and is hosted by Atlanta radio personality Jay Force.
Following the release of last week's single "Spotlight," iHipHop Distribution presents the latest single off the A3C Volume 1 compilation, Chase N Cashe's "My House." Chase is a member of the production team Surf Club along w/ Hit Boy (G.O.O.D. Music) & others and has produced music for artists such as Lil Wayne, Young Money, Eminem, Pussycat Dolls, Keri Hilson, Mary J. Blige, Flo-Rida, Brandy and P. Diddy. About The A3C:
Now in its 7th year, the A3C Hip Hop Festival is a 2-day, 3-night event held annually in Atlanta, GA and features live performances from a wide variety of approximately 200 artists. The live performance schedule is enhanced by day and evening content showcasing some of the most exciting breakdance, graphic art, fashion, film, equipment demonstrations and panels relating to Hip Hop culture.
Since 2005, the event has featured over 600 of the most elite artists in Hip Hop including: Rakim, Buckshot, Black Sheep, DJ Premier, The Juice Crew, Biz Markie, Del the Funky Homosapien, The Clipse, Souls of Mischief, Little Brother, Wale and B.o.B.
