Just over a month after the release of 40Love’s latest album, Dreams Don’t Sleep, the Bay Area group is already pushing out new content as their name is starting to pick up more and more speed. Comprised of MC’s Miss Haze and G-Off and producers Mikos and Whooligan, the four member hip-hop machine is excited to release their latest single, "Dynasty" along with the Mass Appeal video featuring Miss Haze for their coveted Miss Appeal section this month.
Mass Appeal's Miss Appeal section is where they spotlight females from the industry they feel are not only beautiful, but also interesting. Capturing Haze in her element during her recent NYC press visit, the video shows Haze speaking about how she uses poetry to express herself. "People might say, 'It's too abstract...' Well, that's the way I actually feel it," says Haze, who was introduced to poetry through a non-profit organization called Youth Speaks, where she currently volunteers as a youth mentor. "Poetry is the way to truly understand someone."
The song "Dynasty" exclusively features Miss Haze on the mic. Known for juxtaposing inspiring and spiritual messages with unapologetic, futuristc beats, 40Love's Mikos carries on the torch with the song's trappy, sexy screwed production that perfectly complements Haze's unapologetic flow. "The song is about fire and rebirth," says Miss Haze. "It's about autumn, returning to glory, and starting a dynasty of absolute happiness from within. Rising up out of pain and stepping into destiny."

Expertly incorporating influences of electronic music, soul, hip-hop, and more, San Francisco group 40Love is comprised of emcee/vocalist Miss Haze, rapper G-OFF, and DJ/producers Mikos and The Whooligan. The group's name represents their being formed 40 years after the Summer Of Love in San Francisco, and that ethos shows up throughout their music and has earned the group accolades from OkayPlayer, NBC, URB, and others, and has allowed them to share stages with Mos Def, MC Lyte, Afrika Bambaataa, DJ Mark Farina, and more. 40Love released their debut album, Advantage, in 2007, and followed that effort with their sophomore album, BANGERANG! in 2009. Now, three years later, 40Love has released their third album, Dreams Don't Sleep, which includes features from Zumbi of Zion I, Black Spade, The Park, and more.
