Oakland rapper Philthy Rich, who will release his fifth studio album, Real Niggas Back In $tyle on February 26th, today shares “King Jack, an emotional single honoring late Bay Area legend The Jacka. “King Jack” features verses from Freeway and Paul Wall, along with piano-ridden production by AK47“He was one of the realest n*ggas I ever met and one of the only rappers I respected,” Philthy Rich says of The Jacka. “I got ‘King Jack’ tatted on my back right besides 2Pac and Mac [Dre]… Rest in peace The King ’til we meet again… He was very humble and genuine – that’s very hard to find in people these days. He also used to always tell me I was the one going to make it and bring it back for us.” Adds Freeway, “He had a great heart – I seen him give a person the shirt off his back with my own eyes. He really cared about all his friends he was striving to be a good Muslim and he was a great rapper! He will truly be missed.”

Philthy Rich’s Real Niggas Back In $tyle is available for pre-order and features guest appearances from Mozzy, Iamsu!, Young Dolph, Zoey Dollaz, Nef The Pharaoh, E-40, Jim Jones and more and production by 808 Mafia, Zaytoven, KC da Beatmonster and more.
