Freshly Dipped: Hiero Crew Announces Summer Tour
As the summer finally rolls around,the legendary Hieroglyphics combine fashion and music on a 45 date, three month-long “Freshly Dipped Tour,” featuring the classic Hiero crew as well as the fresh up-and-comers. The lineup includes Souls of Mischief, Casual,Pep Love Domino, Blue Scholars, Musab, Prince Ali and Knobody.
To make this something extra special, the tour will also feature the release of the Hiero Jeans clothing line. Although cats have been wearing Hiero gear for years, this line represents Hiero’s desire to give their fans high-end quality products. The clothes will feature silk screened quotes from various Hiero members as well as the Hieroglyphic’s Third-Eye Vision logo, which was named #3 most recognizeable band logo in history by Rolling Stone Magazine. Del that Funkee Homosapien, creator of the logo and found of the Hieroglyphics collective said, “When I invented that symbol, I never thought that it would get that big.” Well Del, it has. K’Naan Summer Tour
Award winning artist K’Naan released an ambitious summer concert schedule last week. Comprised of the biggest festivals in the US and Canada, K’naan will play to a diverse group of fans across North America. The festivals range in scope from alternative to jam band to folk to hip-hop. K’Naan’s tour brings him to Bonnaroo, Star Belly Jam, Lollapalooza, All Points West Music & Arts Festival, and Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival.
