Video: Leah ft. Cuban Doll – “Crackin'” (Prod. by LX)

The Dulcet-Voiced Newcomer Shares a Seductive Video for Her Debut Single, a Low-Key Rap&B Banger

The Video:

Crafting cavernous R&B tapestries that comment on the intricacies of modern love, chanteuse Leah is on the road to stardom. Arriving fully-formed with her debut video, Leah shares Crackin,” a low-key banger. Finding a midpoint between rapping and singing, Leah shows off her honeyed pipes on the downtempo banger, bringing defiance and self-reliance to the aqueous, snapping backing tack: “Ain’t nobody else believe in me, oh/Had to pay for all my enemies/Had to get it crackin’ on my own.” The video finds the singer mobbing in a maze-like backstage area, wearing leopard-pattern clothes and shaking her golden hip-length braids. Featuring an appearance from Cuban Doll, who brings a brash energy, Crackin’” is the opening salvo in a promising career.

One of the most promising R&B newcomers on the ATL scene, Leah has worked with the likes of Yung Bans and Pressa, on the recent single Alright,” (100k plays on SoundCloud) and has spent time in the studio with the likes of Metro Boomin, Trippie Redd, Gunna, Hoodrich Pablo Juan and more. Stay tuned for more music from the artist later this year.
