It’s not very often that hip-hop artists can say that their music blends both a New York, and LA sound. Felly, an independent hip-hop artist hailing from Trumbull, Connecticut, however, is the definition of just that. Over the course of the last eight years, Felly has found his sound and developed an enormous fan base from coast to coast.

From first making beats on a laptop in his basement in Connecticut, Felly built a large YouTube from selling beats. After releasing two solo projects Waking Up to Sirens and Milk and Sugar, he set off to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California majoring in Music Industry. The projects featured Dreamville signee Ari Lennox and frequent collaborator, GYYPS. Accompanying this, Felly began to perform at shows & filming music videos out in LA.

With the help of roommate and artist GYYPS, Felly began working with more talented producers for the release of his next mixtape This Shit Comes in Waves. The project, which included hits like “Gorilla” and “7th King” caught more attention & grew his fan base. Over Christmas break from school, Felly sold out a hometown show in Fairfield, Connecticut in front of 700 people. Later on that year, he appeared at SXSW and hit the road for a 20+ city headlining tour throughout the country. The tour concluded with a massive sold out show in Chicago, Illinois with 1,200 people.
