Shady Nate is no stranger to struggle and adversity. Born and raised in West Oakland's Acorn housing projects, Shady Nate learned at a young age to hustle and grind to get anywhere. In 2004 Shady Nate launched "Livewire Records" and recorded and released a full-length mixtape. Riding high on his growing popularity, Shady Nate released The Gasman Unleashed in June 2009, and the album was quickly dubbed a west coast classic.The Gasman Unleashed is available now via Clear Label Records
