Robert J. Mayberry IV, better known as Rob Jay, has been blazing through Houston’s underground circuit since 2008. Dubbed by fans as “the fearless lyricist,” the young MC has already established himself in the hip-hop world, from being named one of The Top 100 Unsigned Artists by Music Connection Magazine to being selected as one of The 10 Breakout Artists of 2010 by Kevin Nottingham. Since releasing his debut album, Art Life, Rob has launched his own production company, Shyve Entertainment Group and was featured on the soundtrack for the movie Takers. Rob Jay’s latest sophomore EP Millionaire Before 30 is produced entirely by Ammbush of Drums & Ammo, and will be released October 24th.
