SomeOthaShip Connect is an independent label owned by artists & life partners Dudley Perkins & Georgia Anne Muldrow. Founded in 2009, it was established as a creative outlet for their personal projects and side production work. SOS has released projects from Dudley & Georgia, as well as artists such as Kadence, Riff Raff McGriff, Rickie BB, Stephan Muldrow, Michael Beckwith & Darryl Moore. Musically, the label taps a wide range of genres including hip-hop, soul, jazz, electronic & spoken word. Conceptually, the label's purpose is to connect with people's higher spiritual vibration through the art of music. In 2012, the label plans to release a new vocal soul album by Georgia Anne Muldrow and produced by Madlib entitled Seeds on March 27th, as well as side projects from Muldrow including her electronic alias Blackhouse and jazz alias Jyoti.
