Bay-area magnate Opio is a very busy man. As a member of Souls of Mischief and Hieroglyphics, he pulls double duty as both producer and MC. He also runs Hiero Imperium, the independent label Hiero formed in 1997. While juggling all of that, he has released solo records, Triangulation Station in 2005 and Vulture's Wisdom, Vol. 1 in 2008, and a collaboration album with Chozen Few's Unjust called Mark It Zero, a tribute to the cult classic The Big Lebowski. Opio's upcoming album, The Vulture's Wisdom, Vol. 2, will be released through the Hieroglyphics Imperium imprint this spring.
