Atlanta born, Cleveland raised Doe Boy began rapping at age 13 as a way to stay away from the streets. He quickly began gaining a reputation in the Midwest as an up-and-coming MC inspired by 50 Cent, Gucci Mane, and Waka Flocka. His music caught the attention of Future, and a relationship between the two rappers quickly formed after meeting in 2011. Shortly after the release of his mixtape “Boyz N Da Hood,” Doe Boy was welcomed into the Freebandz family.

In 2013, Doe Boy’s rising career was put on temporary hold by an 18-month prison sentence. He emerged with a new dedication to his career and released the Zaytoven and Lex Luger produced “In Freebandz We Trust” shortly after serving his time. Following up with “Boyz N Da Hood,” “Codeine Confessions,” and “In Freebandz We Trust 2” in 2017, and “No Worries” in 2018, Doe Boy works diligently to attain his goal of being at the Grammys in the near future.
