NY Rapper Releases New Song Produced by Blended Babies from Forthcoming Milestones EP, Premiered by Billboard

The Song:

“While most 16-year-olds are going back to school this month, preparing for tests and homework, rapper Chris Miles is preparing to release his upcoming EP Milestones,” says Billboard, who premiered Chris’ newest single, “All in Your Mind.” Produced by Blended Babies, the throwback, jazzy beat, was unorthodoxly created around a voice memo that Compton rapper Buddy sent to Blended Babies. That memo became the hook and the rest of the song was built around it. Says Chris, “The songs about an ideal girl who understands all the stuff that’s going on in my mind with the stresses and demands of life. She just gets it. Meanwhile, I just wanna get it.”

“All In Your Mind” is preceded by his prior single release, “Psychotic,” which landed Miles on Billboard’s Emerging Artist charts, where he trended for 5 days straight. Based on the pressure of being in the music industry received additional praise from OnSMASH, who highlighted his “crafty penmanship and impeccable rhyme skills.” With his album Milestones on the horizon, Chris might get stressed out from time to time but he knows it’s all in his head and is ready for whatever comes his way. Chris Miles Background:

Chris Miles is a 16 year-old rap artist and songwriter from Long Island, New York. At the young age of 10 years old, Miles began to write and record raps in his bedroom that were inspired by his struggles with being bullied in school. After a few years of honing his skills and using rap as a coping method, he decided to start posting videos of himself rapping on YouTube, which is where he was discovered by T3 Music Group. After a few short weeks of working with T3, one of Miles’ videos managed to get posted by World Star Hip Hop where it garnered over 1.3 million views in just three days. This instantly caught the eye of many figures in the industry and Miles was immediately looked at as one of the next big things in music with XXL stating, “Keep your eye on this kid” and FreeOnSmash claiming that he’s “the next thing smoking out of New York.” Over the past two years, T3 and Miles have worked to build a fan base by releasing countless viral and original music videos along with two full length, all original mixtapes. Miles recently toured the tri-state area promoting his first EP, Birth of Cool and he’s currently prepping for the release of his second EP, Milestones.
