The Video:

Miley Cyrus may have declared twerking dead, but the “3 Point Stance” is alive and well thanks to Bay Area rapper C-Money. Following the release of collabs with IAMSUand Too $hort, the Oakland rookie is ready to share a bouncy new slap that’s accompanied by radiant, graffiti-filled visuals. On “3 Point Stance,” which debuts via YouHeardThatNew, C-Money shows viewers how the girls of the Bay “gon’ do it.” Over an infectious beat C-Money and Chonkie F. Tutz, trade energetic bars, while they demonstrate their comedic acting chops. C-Money and his friends are definitely having a good time, and the feeling as a listener is mutual.

C-Money sees his music as having an “East coast flare with a West coast style,” and “3 Point Stance,” is the perfect example of this synergy. Whether your bumping it in the car or in the club, “3 Point Stance,” is a record that isn’t afraid to be fun. The video is the fourth single release from C-Money’s Just 4 You EP, which will be released on November 18th. Play That,” which features IAMSU! has eclipsed 120K views on YouTube. Meanwhile, a video is in the works with Too $hort for the single “Keep Up,” which debuted via Nah Right last month. In addition to the aforementioned features, the project includes a collab with HBK Gang‘s Kool John.

C-Money Background:

With a smooth style and a jovial demeanor, Oakland California rapper, C-Money is easy to get along with. Part of what makes C’s music stand out is his careful balance of lyricism and style. “I have an East Coast flare with a West Coast style,” he describes, citing Wu-Tang Clan and Scarface as primary songwriting influences. “With the punchlines, a lot of artists are just gonna be limited to that. I’m a melodic artist, who rides that beat—so I get both of those. Plus, my sound is catchy.” Like Bay rappers are known for, C-Money’s slapping beats fit the strip club, but between his own catchy choruses, he stuffs the bars with honesty, wisdom, and life—unlike many of today’s rappers—things he’s actually lived.  Look out for C-Money’s debut EP, Just 4 You, featuring Iamsu! and Kool John of HBK Gang and more, available November 18th
